I was wondering about that too. I didn't know if it was an AGer or pro, but I was guessing AGer. Giving him the benefit of the doubt, the only thing I could think of is that he didn't want to finish right in front of her as she was crossing the tape, but if that's the case, you can certainly get off her ass as well.

It looked like the AGer fell off pretty hard on the canal path, maybe stopped at the aid station. Pretty sure he was just trying to get on camera or run with a pro, was also suprised how on her heels he was early on.

I rewinded and saw him giving his medal away to a little boy. What a great guy!
