I was in Transition when the storm came off the lake Saturday afternoon. Strong winds picked up the finish chute banners and moved those fences into the first two rows of racked bikes. The wind carried a lot of sand with it. I laid out flat about a dozen bikes that were tangled in the mess. I got my bike out of there, took it back where I was staying and cleaned it up. Was any ones bike damaged? We came back about 7:30pm and WTC event crew had everything set back up as if nothing happened. Amazing. I don't know how they did it. They earned their $$ this weekend.
