Wouldn't balance be the answer then? i.e., - train enough to get the anxiolytic response you're seeking, but dial-it back enough so that you're not digging yourself a hole and overtraining to a point of increased generalized anxiety. If, however, you have a "drug-like" dependence on exercise for your emotional wellbeing (i.e., you need increasing amounts of your exercise "hit" to feel normal), then there is something deeper to address and I am absolutely *not* qualified to speak to that. In that case consider deeper reflection on work / lifestyle and potentially seek (medical) professional input
