Running Injury

I'm having trouble extending my leg straight after my long runs (just the last two, 3 hours yesterday), and feel that I'm stretching the ligaments (or muscle) in the back of my knee, right in the middle (the knee itself doesn't hurt). Has anybody had that happen to them? Any advice?

FYI I ramped up properly and am not overtrained (although I need to rest the leg now).
