I recently had a bearing go out on my Kickr Core, Wahoo replaced it with no problems. I had just recently started using a rocker plate and it got me to wondering if the rocking motion is bad for trainer bearings. Any thoughts out there from the experts here?

The kickrs use deep groove radial ball bearings that can take axial (side) load quite well. No issue with using a rocker plate. Zwift even offers elastomeric feet that allow the trainer to rock.
The failure was almost certainly correlation not causality.
