Hi all --
I'm new to posting here, but have been reading a lot! I've decided to buy a new road bike and had a fitting done. Now that I've been shopping a little, I have some questions.
The fitter specified a 55cm TT (c-c), with a 9-10 cm stem with a 73-73.5 seat angle. Is a 53-54 cm TT w/a longer stem just as good? Or is there an advantage to the longer TT/shorter stem for me? At one bike shop they were surprised with the specs and thought the shorter tube/longer stem was more appropriate (or at least more common?).
If the seat-tube angle is steeper (say 74.5) does that change the TT length needed?
I'm relatively long-legged -- is there an advantage to choosing a "taller" bike given same TT measurements (for example a 54 cm women's geometry frame vs. a 52 cm "regular" frame).
Thanks for any and all help!
Diane
