Ribble TT bike

Anyone have or had a Ribble TT bike? I was looking at one of them for my first TT bike. Looks like you get a good aero frame and components for a reasonable price. Add in a set of aero wheels and you have a good TT bike for a lot less them the bigger bike brands. Any thoughts on Ribble? Thanks.

by all accounts they are fine bikes. They are open mold though, so if you were really bargain shopping you could certainly pick the frame up much cheaper.

They are solid bikes with the real selling point that you can really customize the colors at an entry level price point. The front end isn't as elegant as it looks from a lot of pictures and expect it to look more like this (https://www.google.com/...imgrc=Dr3wsxTX3uc1PM) in the real world if you go with a mechanical group set.

In terms of price a lot of it comes down to whether or not you already own race wheels. If you don't have wheels the Canyon Speedmax is going to work out to be the better option. The cabling on the Speedmax looks messier from the internet picture but from all examples I have seen its a wash with the Ribble. The wheels you get with the Speedmax more than makes up for the price difference and front hydration system. However if you don't need the wheels the Ribble is good value.
