Renn Disks
I know there are plenty of Renn users here, so hopefully you canhelp me with this one.

I have just bought a Renn disk, but have yet to try it on the roads. One thing that occurs to me before I do is do I need to cover the valve recess (with a sticker) to prevent water getting at the exposed honeycomb, and maybe into the structure of the wheel itself? Or does it not matter if the inside of the recess gets wet?

Also, does it make any difference to the aerodynamics of the wheel if the recess is covered or not?

Thanks in advance for any advice

I just use a piece of black duct tape. Cheap and you can peel it back several times to inflate before it loses it's stick.
