The chrome finish on my brake levers is chipping and peeling and I want to refinish them. How do you recommend I remove the original finish? See sample pic.

Thanks Jim - it’s a file photo to show an example of the levers. Mine are much less photogenic!

Haven't really looked at what they used on the USE levers for coating.
Like everything though... enough sandpaper will take it down.

I'd remove the levers and have a shop sandblast them.
