Does anyone know if and how the pivot bushings from a Shimano direct mount rear brake can be removed? Please see the indicated image attached.
I have been messing with my rear brake for almost 3 months now. My frame includes 8mm thick standoff/studs where originally TRP T922 brakes are mounted on, but I really dislike the pin springs and would like to use a Shimano direct mount. However, the Shimano bolts are 6mm, so that will not fit. If I manage to remove the bushings out of the brake, I could slide the Shimano brake onto the standoffs.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
