My 15 yrs old Sugoi vest is at the end of its life. The local shops don't have anything similar or something that I like. The vest is made of thin fleece like material and the front panel is some sort of wind breaking gortex like stuff.
I looked at Amazon but don't quite know what to think

I've been happy with the CamelBak Circuit Run Vest with 50oz Hydration Bladder. Used it for a couple of years now. It will work with both/either the bladder in back or flasks in front.
Sounds like you are looking for a vest for warmth, not a hydration pack (like suggested above). Running Warehouse has a variety of vests and offer free shipping and returns so you could buy a few and return what you don't like...that's what I would do if my local stores didn't have anything I liked.
