Are you calling local shops or did you talk to Trek? Fwiw, I have never walked into a shop that has ever had a mono plug-in actually in stock. Always was special order.

Yea i called several trek dealers in europe.. they all says that it is in backorder and they can first get it 27.08 which is to late:/ so i hoped that some us dealers/stores had some...

I scored one on eBay last year for $100. Also tr5 the classifieds here.

I searched everywhere for one this spring using my best Google Foo. I walked into my Trek dealer (who doesn't stock any Speed Concepts) and they ordered one. Turns out there were some in stock in Califirnia and they got me one in about 5 days.

The internet isn't going to be your friend on this one. Probably best to order through your local shop and hope there are some floating around.

But i have Airways talked with 3 different local Trek dealers:(

And did they try to order it from Trek? The Plug'n'Play was never a stock item, always special. Trek is usually very good about keeping inventory in the Wisconsin warehouses. Can even get brand-new stems for the first-gen SC.

There are a decent amount of WTB Mono Plugin threads in the classifieds. If they are out there, no one is responding to those threads. Perhaps asking in the main forum will be more fruitful.

i think what we need is a more direct reachout. let me investigate that.
