I just saw these on a Litespeed (I think) in a store. Maybe I am way out of touch, but are these things for real/safe?

I believe they're the Litespeed "house brand" that comes spec'd with most of their bikes. Shouldn't be any problems.
They sure look and feel like plastic, but they are ok forks. The are a bit too flexy for my taste.
