I think the 3T Aduro looks great with this bike. Did you use the original Aduro stem spacers?

From the top.

Nice paint scheme, I like the white accent on the beam!

Yes, I did. The original spacers allow for smooth aero shape transitions and are necessary to attach the beard fairing.

Thanks a lot for your reply. I just got my Dimond sent back to me with the updated Superfork! Such a huge improvement in terms of how baddass it looks. I also got the Aduro installed but it didn't come with the spacers. I was told that it wouldn't fit a Dimond frame since it was made specifically for a P5. When I got it built up again, everything was perfect......except for the stem... Looked so out of place... So I made a fairing and it worked out quite nicely. But if I can put on an original spacer, it would tidy things up even more.

Here is my new rig just built up by Dimond. It was shipped out today so I should have it early next week. Hed Jet 6+ and Hed Jet Disc+ will replace those wheels. Powertap P1 pedals also going on it. I will take more pics once I get my stuff on it.

Remember that wanker who thought Dimonds weren't going to be around 18 months later.

Here is this "wanker's" Dimond (purchased in November) set up for IMTX on Saturday (its first race). It was not my day, but the bike was fast.

Nice paint. I have the new TriRig bars too. Not quite the 'easy to cable, no fishing' experiment they were advertised to be! :)

Still, they look great. Did you get the TriRig extensions?

Any regrets so far? Do you miss the draft box? How is it compared to the SC?

Courious what your paint scheme cost. Ordered a dimond gloss black red decals inside fork and chain stays red, they wanted 650.00 for the paint change. Seems a little steep but I really do not know.

Yes, Alpha X with Gamma extensions. I agree that routing was a bit tougher than expected, but the finished product is a very clean front end. I put my battery in the left extension (1x, so shifter is disconnected) and found it is a very tight fit. Inside diameter is smaller than many other extensions.

I don't remember #, but sounds about right. I agree it seems a bit expensive and I almost skipped it. When I step back and think about how much changing between a bunch of paint colors probably slows down their process, I get it. Once they reach a higher volume, I could see a handful of popular colors and schemes becoming cheaper.

My extensions did not clamp down at all, they had to send me a pair of shims which is a bit dissapointing for a $1,000 bar. They said that the bar is made to fit a larger variety of extensions and some are a bit looser. Why the gamma extensions are not made for their own alpha X bar is anyone's guess. The extensions still rotate with the shins in so maybe I will contact TriRig as they might be faulty. It looks great though! Did you pad the junction box to stop it rattling in the stem?

Yep, I had to get the shims from TriRig as well. The right extension stayed put, but the left still rotated with the shim and 5nm torque on the clamp bolt this weekend. I may try adding a piece of black tape to secure the shim against the extension. I am curious if they will address this with the new batch of extensions.

The junction box (5 port) is actually a tight fit for me, no rattle.

I like them. Been a Cee Gees fan for years. I never used the stock Alpha pads though. Not the greatest reviews of them and they seemed like they were crap.
