I love the color scheme, but two things. One, how good would white tape and red hoods look? And two, your bike is on the couch.

I haven't posted a pic of this bike in about 3 years, so what the heck.
6 years old and going strong. New cockpit last season, pulled sufferfest duty last night (and for those paying attention, yes the low spoke count wheels go against almost everything I stand for :-p )

ok, I've made enough ST tweaks to make it worth showing.
It's a 2009 Orbea Aletta (the aluminum Orbea), bought in Feb 2010.
it's not CF, it's not steep, but it was cheap!
the parts are ST-forum kool-aide.
the rear wheel is PT hub (wired) on a DT Swiss training wheel, covered by a WB cover. the install instructions are from the forum, including the frame-colored tape on the downtube.
the front wheel is pre-dimple clincher Zipp that I bought on eBay.
the flat kit is in the seat-tube water bottle, so there's nothing hanging on the seat. when I put the PD aerodrink on the bars, all the cables tuck behind it, nothing sticks out.
the only change I have left is to move the LYC out onto the extensions (so it will be between my hands and the PD bottle).
i'm not a good enough bike handler to keep looking down and back at the computer. (see the awesome DZ thread. wow!)

I wish I could say the SR-71. My Stealth, no pun intended, used to be white but I like the look of the matte black on those jets that I had the Planet X stripped and this is the end result. I took the "shortcut" back from the Tour of California's Palmdale start and just happen to drive by the open museum.

Very nice. Like the Blackbird, your competition will only get a brief glimpse, and then you're gone.
I was involved in a training exercise at Lackland AFB while in the AF, and suddenly looked up and an SR-71 pierced through the clouds, then was gone. I didn't even hear it coming. Only after it was gone from sight did I faintly hear it. Man, that was a sweet moment. And that's a sweet bike.

yeah you are gonna want to move that seat forward, it'll also allow you to go lower on the front end.

i find it interesting how you can say that without knowing what i look like, how i ride, or how i look on the bike.
interesting also, because i was more forward and low on my old bike, but i got a fit from a really good dude who trained with john cobb, and this is what he came up with. my power jumped by 10-20 watts in the new position, pretty much overnight. i am more comfortable and my head is actually lower.
i will keep it where it is thanks.
