Another TI bike:

Merlin/QuintanaRoo triathlon bike! I just got this put together as a christmas present for the girlfriend.

This is a bike I picked up used from the classifieds here (JamieWilson) 650 wheels, with dura ace front and rear derailleurs. I put some FSA semi-aero road bars on with Vision clip ons and 105 shifters. Just took it for a test ride and it is sweeeeet.

[/quote] I like it very much. A couple of King titanium cages and trimming the front brake cable end would finish it off very nicely.

3t doric seatpost, eh?

nice. very nice.

i don't know why you stuck mavic stickers all over the place. there was enough yellow on the frame and the wheels already.

The Mavic Stickers are to cover the red stickers from the manufactorer. My idea was that I didn't want to have any other color but black, white and yellow. That was the reason I repainted the sram deraillieur and the shifters.

The bike is a small.
I think that Speedfil is coming out with a smaller model some time.

Alot of attention to detail there. What cranks are those?

goals, personal:
- under same username post st rr of Kona m80-84ag mop, tail end of the dopers finish
- shoot age from tips on par 72
- beat SuperDave in one-on-one
all within single wk- Viva Chopin, Fryderyk; Faulk, Peter; Helmsley, Sherman; Palillo, Ron; Rogers, Fred McFeely; Sanford, John Elroy; Snuka, Jimmy- and the water bottle isn't half fuller on the other side

Thanks!
Those cranks are FSA Energy compact cranks. They were going real cheap on Ebay and the total weight is almost the same as a DA 7800 crankset+BB.

Not nearly as nice as just about everybike on here and it's been collecting dust while the roadie has been in comission over winter.
But I am proud to say that including the wheels this bike was built for about $900 Aus thats about $500 US at the moment so it's a bit of a bargain, and it's been faultless so far including my first IM. I think the fact that it fits me perfectly is the best this about it.

Nishiki Beta? Used to have one with 650s for crit racing... fun little bike.
