Did I miss the thread for 2019 somewhere? I haven’t been much for posting historically (ever?) however, this started me off on the right foot last year and helped me come to terms with what might have been becoming more of a problem than I would have liked to have admitted.
Looking forward to doing it again.
I won't be doing a full dry January, but a few weeks ago I decided to consciously not drink alcohol during the week. I'm not a heavy drinker, but I had been having 1-2 beers or 1-2 glasses of wine most nights. I have noticed a huge improvement in my sleep quality on nights when I haven't had any alcohol. I've always been a fitful sleeper at the best of times, so this has helped me be aware of and mindful of the negative effect alcohol can have on sleep quality.
I'm in. I went dry the 10 weeks leading up to IMLOU and it made a huge difference, not only in weight loss but also in how I felt each morning and, most importantly, my confidence.
Are we doing a daily check-in / log? Something for motivation / accountability?
I'm in, but only because I'll be so skint!
