Anybody got a favorite? I used to use the bontragger but had to stretch the band pretty hard, finally broke.

That is my favorite also. I am using a zip tie as an extension so it will fit. Works great.

I have a cheap 15lm one off eBay that works great for night (not daylight) use. ( https://www.ebay.com/...ar-Lamp/312868520636 ). It also just uses a silicone band.
If you get one that you can recharge w/o removing it, then you could just attach it with double sided tape and then use a lipstick charger to charge it (I do this with my on-bike electronics, including the Di2, head uint, etc.).

Is mounting a light on the saddle rails an option, or do you have bottles in the way.
If they are - the Lupine Rotlicht and the Exposure Flare are good options.

Check out this light. I just picked one of these up and they are very impressive. Glen

Serfas at serfas.com makes some very nice rear lights that are aero tube compatible. I am using their Vulcan 350 lumen rear light on my TT bike without any issues.

Simple solution is to loop a silicone O ring (or multiple ones together) to extend the mounting band if it's not long enough for an aero post

This gives me the idea to 3d model an adapter for clipon lights, when I get a minute. Saddle rail would be most compatible yeah?

R Flare with zip tie extension for the seat post . . . works great. no problems at all.
I also put 2 Serfas Thunderbolt 2.0s on my left seat stay. The combination is highly visible.

This on my road bikes one with round post other Aero fab light, great run time and easy to use. Best rear light iv owned by miles.

TT bike I use a TraceR on a saddle mount, great light too but run time is not as good on the Day Flash mode. Sufficient for up to a 100TT tho.

It's still my preferred solution. And I'm still using that Exposure rear light.

As an aside for UK slowtwitchers I believe they have just been made compulsory in all Open and Club cycle time trials.
