For the past several years I have been planning to do RAAM with three others. The target year has been 2021 but given the training and planning investment required, it’d be a real shame to get to Feb or March and find the race cancelled like in 2020.

I feel a race like RAAM is inherently “socially distanced” as your team and crew can, with minimal modification to the format (ie start and checkins), be isolated from all others.

On the other hand, the number of jurisdictions that the route passes through, each with their own power to shut down events, is massive.
