Project Podium - Free Helmet and Sunglasses for Age Group Winners
Quote | Reply
Hi all,

Rudy Project North America here. Wanted you all to know about a new program we're introducing where we're offering a free Boost 01 road aero helmet and a free pair of Tralyx sunglasses to age group athletes that win their age group in a full distance (140.plus) mile race in 2018. The race does have to be a sanctioned race in the USA or Canada, and you must be a Canadian or US permanent resident in order to redeem. This is $600+ worth of gear that we're just giving away to some of the top age group athletes in the sport! We want to reward the best, with the best.

You can find more info on our blog: https://www.rudyprojectna.com/...nches-project-podium

The full list of eligible races is here.

The site to redeem is here: https://www.rudyprojectna.com/pages/project-podium

Holler if you have questions, or you can contact Jay Weber via email: jay@gorace.pro. Cheers!

“Required to post on social media using the hashtag #RudyProjectNA”

So...does this disqualify those of us who hate social media? Pity

Hi There James!
Thanks for your interest in the project. We are actually backdating the program to the beginning of 2018, so if you won your age group at IMTX, you do in fact qualify.
Please go to: https://www.rudyprojectna.com/pages/project-podium, fill it out, and I’ll take a look at the application.

Have a great weekend!

Hi Birdman,

No, it does not disqualify you from qualifying. We can discuss options, if you hate social media posting.

Thanks for your interest. If you win your age group, please reach out, and we can discuss.

If only Barrellman was included :( However I can completely understand the need to keep the list small and exclusive. This is a great program so I hope it continues into next year

Hi Adrian,
Thank you for posting. We have had several participants already apply and qualify for our program. Their order will be placed on Monday, and they should have their gear in hand by the end of the week. We are excited about this program, and will be sending out our gear to all qualified winners.

Hi KarmaTraining,
The reason Barrelman doesn't qualify is due to the distance. We are looking at 140+ mile (226km) or longer races. At this time, we are not including 70+miles (113km races).
We are hoping for great success this year, to re-evaulate for next year!

Thanks again for writing!

By and large the age-groupers who win and take you up on the offer, by my estimation and probably pretty close to the estimation of others on here, will have probably a 99% chance of being slower, and much slower wearing a Boost 01 over say a Giro Aerohead or LG P09. I would love a list of athletes who take this offer and then seeing the FinisherPix at their next race. If they are in a Wing57 or Wingspan, without visiting a windtunnel for validation, then what do we make of them?

I don’t see anything saying the helmet needs to be worn while racing if you are an AG winner and take them up on the offer.
