It seems like it, but you'll be selling them alone? What is the cost of one?

Does anybody out there have their PT set up with a single chainring? What brand? I have the stock dual sided pioneer powermeter and ultegra crank. I'm looking for a narrow/wide ring, ~56 teeth....hoping to save a ton of time searching, thank you in advance :)

Aaannnnd.....on a completely unrelated topic, the giant tririg scoops will fit perfectly with a second "1/2 cylinder nut thing that fits inside the aerobar" (whatever you call it).

We have a lot of bike cases on pre-order.

If you are running into financial issue due to the emergency and need a refund just let me know; I understand.

I will still hold cases for anyone that pre-ordered when they arrive - even if you need a refund today.

Dan,
You are such a great person. In times like this, your care for others is so inspirational. I also see you are now halting production on the bike side of things and making masks? Thank you. As a health care worker I want to personally say thank you.

Cheers

Dan,

Is there a way to order the hydration system main unit fill stopper and straw only? I lose one of my fill stoppers last year when I hit a bump in the road and the straw has gone missing.

Thank you,

Matthew

Any further progress on this one Dan?

Yes- I’m working on that conversation kit.

The first design for the stem base was not strong enough so I had to re-design it. I have a prototype that I have been using for a few months. The part will go through further testing in January.

Just a general update.

For Premier Bike it’s a mixed bag.

I had completed all the CAD drawings and designs for a lot of new products in January and was looking forward to meeting with suppliers at the March show in Taiwan. That got cancelled- book another trip for May which also got cancelled and I just had to cancel my September trip. So we are looking at late spring 2020 at the earliest for new products and inventory.

I learned a long time ago that I had to see and approve all prototypes in person before going into production so I’m just going to wait until travel is approved. I’m not willing to take a chance on quality or design margins and bring in new product right now.

We were lucky to have sold almost all of our inventory in 2019. So sitting in cash is better than looking at boxes in a warehouse. I just don’t know right now so I’ll wait and see like everyone else.

I had already committed to a big travel case production run in anticipation for 2020 late season events so I’ll sit on some of those for a while.

For a small company like ours it’s just a wait and see situation. I’ll keep employees paid until we can move forward again.

Thanks for the update, Dan! I love the Tactical, and wish I could have raced it this year. I turned to KOM's, and have gotten around 120 from May-August on the Tactical - just wish that speed could be translated into race results. It'll have to wait until next year (hopefully)!

Is there a recommended or experienced bike shop in Philadelphia to work on the Premier Tactical? I am experiencing an issue in the stem, headset, headtube area that is making the bike a bit unstable and I am no confident I can fix it on my own.

Thanks.

Why don't you give me a quick call 815-263-2727.

This bike shop owner bought a Tactical for his wife. He is in Philly.

I went to order the bike box and it suggested $130 for shipping. Is there another way to get this item or is $130 the only way?

You can pick it up if you are close. The $130 is for the freight and $6000.00 in insurance. We use that as an average. If you would like - I'm happy to put in your address and see if the Bikeflights quote is lower.

Edit: I see you just order the box and not the bike. Let me lower the insurance and get a quote for the lower amount. Without a bike the freight and insurance is $49.00 to your location.

Awesome, yes. I would like to order only the case. Are you able to send me an invoice for that with this shipping cost so I can place the order?
