Just rode it at IMAZ.

1) Feedback is that it's a nice disc wheel that seems no different to me than past disc wheels I've used (Super 9, Renn, HED Jet)

2) aero comparisons/differences of discs are pretty mild, at best. I doubt there is any measurable aero difference b/w a Super 9 and the Premier

Any n=1 notable delta in speed/efficiency? If not, what (other than bragging rights and proven company history) would motivate one to get a Zipp disc at 4x price over the PT disc?


Somewhat tangential, but what improvement should I notice over an IM (we will use IMAZ as a barometer) switching from Zipp 808 rear to a disc?

Zero notable difference in speed/efficiency. They even sound the same. I don't understand why people pay so much more for certain disc wheels, personally, when options are available that are equal in terms of performance but 1/4 of the price.

The improvement over a rear 808 will save probably around 75 seconds over an IM.
