6) Probably incorrect (too low) power readings, because I totally forgot to perform manual-zero that day.

Im usually in prospect park. This is the first year where ive done my intervals indoors because the park has just been too crowded for me to feel comfortable doing anything over 24-25 mph. Ive had some success doing 20 minute tests at floyd bennet field, but only on a road bike. Its too bumpy to ride in tt position.

Gotcha; though even in the best of times, that downhill descent in Prospect is a bit scary... Here in NJ I'm faced with the realization that the roads aren't very hospitable to TT bike riding. I took time off from ITTs this year, but I think i'll be cooped up and doing zwift when I restart

Good luck with your training and racing

I agree speed seems low of the power is correct.

Was it a hilly course?

Do you have a good aero position on the bike?

Not sure how Stages single arm compares to other power meters but otherwise it was a pretty flat course. Fitter tells me my angles are as good as can be on the road bike and spent a lot of time with me really focusing on the aero position but no pics unfortunately.

It seems at that power you should be going faster

I know next to nothing about power but to give you a comparison.

I’m 55 lbs heavier than you and going by an online power calculator I did the same power as you yesterday for 15 miles with 8 - 90 degree turns and an 180 degree with 10 small hills and averaged 24 mph

3) 101.1 miles in 5h39m
4) 76 Kg
5) Cannondale Super Six Evo with 55mm rims
6) 6857 ft of hills. 29 Degrees C. Properly sunny and hot sportive - I was really suffering by the end of it. And my main gripe is that such a tiny proportion of all the other riders can ride in groups: taking turns and drafting/pulling. Really nobody knows how to do it. And the results table is all shite because a couple of random Strava searches on the 20 people who "beat" you reveals that most of them did the shorter distance.
I'm not paying for any more sportives as the only benefit i get is water refills.

That explains things.

I weight 30 lbs more than you, would wager as a result, and looking at the pics, I have more girth on my waistline than you do etc.

Doing 10 watts more, I averaged 3.9 mph faster, on a moderately hilly course.

The images you have shown reveal a lot of low hanging fruit for aerodynamic benefits.

First thing that sticks way out is your head, you can TOTALLY turtle that much better.

Not sure what the limitations of your current bike are, but I'd like to see the entire body rotated forward around the crank more for starters as well.

You're giving up a lot to those tires and tubes. Probably more than 2 minutes. Whatever Hed says, a 25 is too wide for the Jet 9. The GPs are already pretty slow rollers. Using butyl with them makes them dog-ass slow.
