From Tupper Lake HIM. 2nd fastest bike split:

1 - AP 213, NP 222 (IF .78)
2 - 24.0 mph (it was hella windy the whole way out)
3 - 56m, rolling** course (w/ HELLA headwind)
4 - 72kg? Little heavier than normal
5 - P4, Jet90 C2, disc cover on PT. Fast tires and latex.
6 - Did I mention the wind? And being "fat"? OK, we've covered the whining then.
7 - I've posted my Savageman "position" pic before, don't need another gratuitous one here.

I get a LOT of speed out of not much wattage.

** Joule says ~1800' gain/loss, Strava says closer to 2400' gain/loss.
More is MORE = Strava must be correct! ;-)

4 - 91kg

6 -Temperatures were 102 F, According to some on the Muncie thread, I was dumb to carry one bottle for a 27 mile ride.

Wow, quite uncanny. I had very similar numbers on the same course.
1.) 256AP, 258NP, .867 IF
2.) 25MPH, but my distance and time include both ends of transition running with the bike, about 65 seconds of running with the bike
3.) 29.03 miles, again, includes running with bike in transition
4.) 168lbs
5.) Kestrel 4000, FC 808 front, 1080 rear, Tangente tubulars, dimples abound
6.) Feel I dosed it just right as I ended up with 4th fastest amateur run split. 3rd M45-49.

End FWIW, avg temp according to my Garmin on the bike was 81.7 degrees, but I went off early at 6:54a.m., 7th wave I believe.

I wanna go fast!

Been three years since I raced on a bike, nice to finally be able to be in this thread.

1. 240 AP, 247 NP
2. 25.5 miles (slightly long Olympic distance course)
3. 22.7 MPH. Includes a stop for about 30 seconds as my 9 year old DMTs started to separate at the soles. Hopefully shoe gu gets them back together.
4. 155 lbs and Golden Cheetah puts my critical power at about 270 watts.
5. Fort RO-SLC road bike with clipons, wheel cover on back, Pro3s and butyl tubes, Giro transfer helmet, tri top and shorts.
6. Small rollers, about 85 degrees with a touch of humidity, minimal wind. Run afterward was hot.

Racing again in a few weeks, can't wait to compare. Will have a Flo9 on the front so expect massive improvements.

7) Optional: a picture (or link to a picture) of you in your aero position. Don't have.

I was trying to see how hard I could go on the bike and not torque up my run. Apparently fairly hard....run leg was my best Olympic run yet.

6) Possible deflation problem with my rear tire - after my sprint race the next day, I noticed that the rear tire was soft to the touch, despite fully pumping it an hour before that race. The front tire, using the same tire and tube, held all its air. The course was fairly hilly, and not much wind.

Looks like my powertap failed to record the whole sprint race, so I have nothing for that.
