When I travel to Houston I just find a nearby LA Fitness. There seem to be a lot.

I'm actually traveling to Houston for work next month and just booked my hotel. I'm staying at the Hilton on the campus of University of Houston, which is about 5 miles away from MD Anderson. As a guest of the hotel, you have access to the University of Houston indoor pool and rec center, which is right across the street from the hotel. The indoor pool is open from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

there's a 24hr fitness on Kirby and rice. Indoor 25M. I think they charge $20/day for a guest pass though.

There is an LA fitness just down the road from Anderson. Walking distance.

UH has a pool, but it is on the other side of 288 (east down holcomb/macgregor). I don't know if you can get in without a student/alum.

Coog Aquatics has a master's program that is not too far from MDACC as does Rice.

LA fitness is the best bet though.
