Hello Tri Peeps,

Here's the deal: I am fed-up with the Polar M400. I bought this watch as an early Christmas present for my GF. After a lot of comparison, the M400 has matched my V800 for distance accuracy only once. None of the firmware updates to date has fixed the accuracy issue(s) with the M400. Also, what dedicated running watch doesn't have some means to gauge cadence? Come on Polar! It's been 7 months since you launched the M400 and still no cadence measurement?

Anyways, has anybody asked Polar to swap their M400 for a V800 with a price differential? I paid $200 dollars for a runner's watch. What the GF got was a watch that's advertised as a runner's watch, but in reality is just an expensive activity monitor.

Thoughts/experiences?
