runningroom should carry them (assuming you are in canada)
polar.com (i think) should be able to refer you to a store that you can buy them in.
Also, my lbs as well as a lot of different stores that sell the HRM's should carry them.

Hi, well you're going to have a hard time finding an adapter with serial plug in retail stores as everyone's going to USB. I actually work at the Running Room, but in Hawaii and not Canada and we just sold our last serial and sent all the rest back for USB units. I have a serial interface I'll sell you at cost plus shipping so that I can move to a USB interface and not feel bad about getting rid of the other one. email me if you're interested blechta@hawaii.edu.
www.creativehealthproducts.com is a pretty good site for HRM gear. I just checked their site and they list polar serial infrared interfaces for $34.90.
