Polar 710 question
Does anyone know if the readout lines can be customized on the 710? I would like the first line to read cadence, the large middle line speed and the bottom line heart rate. Can't seem to get it to do this.

Turn on the HRM so it reads your HR.

wait 'till the HR appears in the display.

Depress the lower right hand button until the center line of the display reads your MPH (or KPH.)

Depress the upper RH button until the top line of the display shows your cadence.

You now have cadence on top, spd in the middle, and HR on the bottom line.

the only problem with that is that the bottom line is showing heart rate as a % of max, not just plain old heart rate.

Go to:

http://www.polarusa.com/manuals/S720i.pdf (Its also for the 710)

and download the manual, it can save you a lot of questions about functions.

Make sure you are in record mode (stopwatch runing) when you press and hold the lower right button, it only changes the active bike when in measure mode.
