Please recommend core video series/YouTube channel

The Ashley Horner saga has probably taught us a lot about the "fitness industry" so I am a little cautious about guru worship when the whole thing is made of smoke and mirrors.

Please recommend either a Youtube channel or dvd series for core fitness.

I (or rather the wife has) swiss ball, swim stretch cordz and various elastic bands (the colored type)

I could probably rustle up some free weights also.

I prefer to follow along and the trainer road for core strength would be ideal.....

Me = AG 50-54 - doing tri for 20+ years - not done any core for *cough* a while

tks

Abi Carver has Yoga15. Her focus is for those of us who ride dirt but her stuff works on the road as well.

I would be careful in your words of terming the fitness industry smoke and mirrors unless I interpreted it incorrectly. Same thing can be said about a lot of the stuff in the Triathlon industry, doesn't mean both do not have great coaches, content producers, etc.

That all said, here are some channels I would recommend. These people do have a strong resume as a fitness professional too if that helps for credibility.

Dave Schmitz
https://www.youtube.com/...BandTrainingWorkouts (If you want the bands they are fairly cheap, extremely versatile, and very beneficial for those limited on time/space

John Rusin
https://www.youtube.com/...7H-UyGCkn8P_dt3VkOUg
He is language is a bit aggressive but that is the demographic he serves the most. Dude is super knowledgeable, has great results and gives great exercise demonstrations and tutorials.

Redefining Strength
https://www.youtube.com/...redefiningstrengthOC
I am not a big fan of tons of variability in exercises and most cannot do the basics masterfully well and that is where 90% of gains come from. But if you want different challenges, and to add some variability this is good.

Kriss Hendy (Strength for Endurance)
https://www.youtube.com/...U0M2Sn38W2MdXl0Dc7zQ

https://www.youtube.com/...FTrvKwQ7c87pRuTHlXKQ
Kriss specializes with endurance athletes and has worked with some of the Aussie pros. Has two channels with lots of demonstrations.

I know ECFIT Boulder also has an app with the programs they use for many of their pros.

Enjoy

I swear by LesMills On demand. CXWorx can be really hard if you want it to be. Good music and good variety in a balanced 30 minute core workout. It’s $11.99 a month but you get spinning, HIIT workouts, strength training, and yoga. 100% worth my money!

The only way to avoid disappointment is to not try anything at all.

Ok thanks all

If there is so much stuff out there for free

I am curious

The videos from these guys for instance pretty much go on forever

Why would I pay ? Is it to get a structured program - like Trainer road vs random trainer videos/sessions?

Is it as simple as that or am I missing something?

edit - No it looks that simple https://www.gymra.com/programs
