Phoenix, AZ metro area - swimming pool options?
Going to Phoenix for some business+vacation at the end of Match. Staying near Encanto village. This guy would be perfect but looks like it is only open during the summer... any other options?

Both pools in Encanto seem to only have summer availability. I'd head over to Scottsdale or to El Dorado pool.

Phoenix Swim Club was amazing a couple years ago when I was there and shouldn’t be too far. Beautiful pool that switches between short and long course and a large masters group with a good amount of times each day. They are open year round.

Thank you for the recommendation! But it looks like the single-swim admission is not available to the general public. Did you have to join the masters team to swim there?

I think the pool is generally only available to swim at during the masters times listed, but you don’t have to do their workout technically. I doubt they would charge you anything if you just drop in for a couple swims. There are so many lanes there that it’s typically not crowded unless there are school teams there too.

McDowell Mountain Rec center is great, but further North. Cactus Aquatic and Fitness Center has Masters every morning and will be closer. $10 drop in I believe.

Cactus pool in Scottsdale is $5 per entry and is a very nice facility.
