Offseason: non-swim/bike/run activities during the pandemic?
What is everyone doing that isn't s/b/r during the offseason?

I plan on snowboarding when I can, but I am looking for ideas to stay happy/active in the middle of the week. I'm definitely going to focus on yoga/strength/mobility work.

Normally, I'd jump on a rower or something at the gym, but that's not going to happen. Any other suggestions?

I have a friend who has a house on private ski lake. Back in May He asked if I wanted to start learning the slalom course and I jumped at the chance. Been skiing almost once a week, and it's been awesome. It's really helped fill the void of all my events being cancelled.

Just my pain cave in the basement, with a cable machine, ski machine, and free weights. Does guitar playing count? I spent years in a band... which folded when our venues closed with covid... and I've been letting it slip. Gotta get back to some playing.

I played guitar for 10+ years, only to have put it away once I got to law school. I may pick it back up again... good call.

My son and I have been doing orienteering... a bit of running but has been nice to get out into nature with him and teach him a life skill.
