Northeastern Ohio really doesn’t start outdoors until June. Most water is just too cold for most events until Memorial Day

HFP is a good series. Shannon Kurek has worked really hard to secure a locations in the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District that will be guaranteed race sites for this year. The ODNR will not be issuing any permits until June 1st so he didn't want to risk having to cancel races again in 2021 so that's why he went with MWCD. That shouldn't be too far for you. I'm coming up from Cinci and it's 2.5 - 3 hrs for us.
