Yeah, I don't think this necessarily hampers his chances of hitting his goal but I haven't listened to his post race vlog. I wouldn't attribute any of this to his diet and definitely am not diminishing any of what Jesse Thomas did because that is amazing. Sage did hit on this on a thread in letsrun that basically played out almost the same as this one.
I think injury, he is trying to hit the gym more for some muscle imbalances he has mentioned on his channel, 100+ mile week, and potentially it just being an off day? I do hope he hits that goal because he has been chasing it for the last like 4 years! He probably should have wore his rockets and not the tracer 2s :)
