New assos bibs

Has anyone used the new Generation 5 FI uno bibs from Assos yet. I was thinkin about gettin those or the 400 mile desoto bibs

I don't think they're here yet...Huge delays in getting them into the US due to, as I was told, labeling issues...

Oh, ok...Well, as with most Assos stuff, if you can afford them, they're worth the price. I have two pairs of the "lower" $250 bibs and they are amazingly comfy.

$250 for the "lower" ones? 250 is the most expensive bibs i coulds find by assos...now craft...thats another story :P

Some of the new shorts have landed - according to the importer they're not all in yet, but I'm looking forward to trying one of new kinds in a couple days.

If you have that extra buck to spend, go for it. The new generation is as good or maybe even better than the previous and it's worth the money. But you can also find less expensive bibs that will get you thru the long ride without causing discomfort. Never tried the DeSoto's but Pearl Izumi and Agu have some high quality in them too.
