POC, you have my attention... Along with the new Evade and Oakley, I am definately excited for this new arrival. Tough decisions lie ahead.

Seems like a lot of vents. Also if you’re going to show the whole helmet in the teaser video just put a picture up of it, so I don’t have to hit pause 20 times to get a good view of it.

Haha! That is exactly what I was thinking when watching the video clip.

That's good marketing! :)

Well done, POC!

How is it good marketing? Me being annoyed doesn’t make me want to buy it, and will limit me wanting to look at ads again for them.

Ditto; in fact, I gave up on it already. have no patience for teasers and don’t understand them. I only viewed this because I thought it was the while product. Showing me part of your product doesn’t make me want to go back to see the rest any more than if you just waited to show me the whole thing.

The point of teasers is to get you excited for something. Whether that works or not may vary from person to person. At least it not a teaser for something that is coming out 2 months from now; we are only 2 days away from its release date on March 2nd. I am excited to see what they have come up with and the explanation for all of those vents.

Looks like one website jumped the gun and posted their review early. The page is down but Google Cache to the rescue:

I'm interested to see more info when it is officially released. I already have the Octal and the Octal Aero, so I'm not really in the market for an in-between helmet...but I guess that doesn't mean I won't be interested in it.

I was being facetious. I know what they are trying to accomplish. But blurred videos and pictures fail miserably to capture my attention

Sorry, but every time I hear someone talking about POC I think about this hot mess:

After they came out with that, it was hard to take them seriously.

"I see that your Schwartz is as big as mine. Now, let's see how well you can handle it."

You’re kidding right? What’s so damn exciting about a black, vented, standard road helmet? Looks like every other helmet on the market.

I still suspect that was an inside joke that went too far...and then accidentally escaped into the wild!

Someone in Sweden is probably still laughing about that. Or, should be.

Actually, not kidding. POC always has bright colors for visibility. And besides, I am more excited to see how they explain the aerodynamics of the helmet despite the front vents, wind tunnel results, and reviews from other riders and testers. But thanks for making that extremely useless comment regarding my personal feelings about a product.

I like it. I JUST bought a new protone so thats kind of a bummer. if this is more aero and cooler... maybe I'll get a new helmet sooner than planned.

Ya it is really fast on some people. I tried to find one to take to the wind tunnel a few years ago, but I will admit that I really want d it to suck on me. I am no slave to fashion, but that thing is just silly looking. It make me think of a Manta Ray is sitting on your head

Well...I guess it's got that "bio mimicry" thing going for it...but I wasn't quite thinking of a Manta Ray...

Hello grumpier.mike and All,

Yep .... it is a bit different looking helmet ... but beauty is in the eye of the beholder .... and as often mentioned ....... our costumes are not the sort of attire you would wear to a business meeting (well .... most business meetings).

Although athletic wear is rapidly becoming more mainstream ...... I think it will be awhile before I wear my tri suit to go shopping at Home Depot .... even if it is orange.

When I first saw the Tempor I thought the UCI would ban it ..... as it was the beginning of a body fairing starting with the shoulders.

It might be interesting to see how far that type of helmet/fairing could evolve before being banned.

And the black version ....

Might this be a version of a forward mounted water bottle?

Cheers, Neal
