Dan had it on his experimental bike.
(see "an experiment in geometry" in the archives.)
It's supposed to be a very value oriented carbon wheel. It's similar to previous years' HED Stinger wheels.

Seen it and held one at B&L sports in Kona. Looks really nice, and I think the set was going for under 1k. I believe it was a 50mm Deep V rim, I'm not sure how it differs from the current HED Alps though. Take a look at Deboom picture's he's riding one on the front at IMH.
