New Forks

Tis the silly season and I had a thought.

Is it worth changing forks on a 10 year old frame to have an integral (hidden) brake or even going to a disc brake, front wheel, considering the aero benefits.

I didn't know that disc brakes had an aero benefit.

Putting a Tririg Alpha X on the front would probably give you much of the benefit of an integrated brake with a lot less effort and cost. And, it brakes very well too.

I understand they have a small benefit and getting rid of all that clutter at the top of the fork obviously has an even more benefit.
It's also where the bike is going...should I live that long.
Bonus, they do a better job in the rain.
Think IM Louisville this year.
