NBC Sports is going away, what are you using for race streaming?
Now that NBC Sports has stated they are closing up shop I am looking for advice on what to use for streaming cycling races. What are the opinions on Flo Cycling, GCN Pass, etc? I primarily watch the Tour, the Spring Classics, and cyclocross but will watch anything on those rainy Sunday mornings when I can't ride.

I assume they are moving things over to Peacock, maybe some over to Olympic Channel...?

VPN + l'Équipe/FranceSport/RBE/BBC Wales, etc.

The best known pirate feed was pretty aggressively policed last year, so it wasn't super reliable, but the chat was still fun.

All of the NBCSN rights are shifting to the Peacock and USA Network. NBCSN shutdown does not effect the Olympic Channel.

Im switching to flo cycling. It looks like they have all the races the NBC sports gold cycling pass for 2021 does and more. It seems like year after year the NBC pass has gone up in price and the number of races has gone down.

With GCN race pass some races are not available in all countries so you have to look at which races are available to you.

I have been paying for flo cycling for a few years. I just checked the upcoming 2021 schedule and every single race, up to and including the Dauphine, is listed as unavailable in my area (US)? I hope this is an error...or simply needs updated.

Thanks for suggestion. As a gratitude I wanna share a website with legit online casinos https://casino-legit.com/ . It's a great service which helps people to find perfect casino for them. They have all kinds of casinos with different games and bonuses. Whatever you want, roulette, slots, poker and more. And all kinds of bonuses like free spins or welcome bonus. Good luck!

Flo has a post in their news section listing the 2021 schedule. Their Events page has not been updated.

I always watched the 480p feed which almost never goes down. I only watch maybe a half dozen races a year so these subscription models are insane.
I might pony up for a VPN this year if Covid allows racing.

I used this feed. I watched it before NBCSN coverage began their daily broadcast. Watched Giro on here.

Kind of replying to everyone...

Thanks for the replies and the ideas. I just don't want to go back to the old days of a couple hrs of Tour coverage on July weekends and nothing else for the whole year.

The Peacock is also cheaper than the previous single sport Gold Passes were. So, a significantly better value.

Unless you had access through an existing package. Kind of annoyed that they’ve scrapped so much content on existing channels, and replaced it with nothing, in order to move it over to a separate paid subscription. They could have easily showed more (any?) cross-country skiing on the Olympic channel this year instead of repeats of Return to Sochi.

I’m intrigued by Fubo and their cycling channel. Might switch over some months from YoutubeTV.

Cheaper for sure but I am a little confused about Peacock... the sports link at the bottom of their page under "What's on" does not show any cycling. Do I have to sign up to see a more complete list of what they have? I see mention of moving the stuff on Gold over to the Peacock premium but maybe we won't see it listed until the shift is further along???

The navigation on the peacock is pretty annoying to be honest.

I have both Flo and GCN and I llike them both. Good quality video, easy to navigate and the replays are up quickly enough.

It’s a little annoying because some of the races are on GCN and some on Flo and I’m never sure which but you can’t really do much about that.

Living in the Eastern time zone, it is pretty cool to be able to watch a race on my lunch. I was mad they all went off tv but now I like it.

What major races were you able to watch on GCN last year? I am considering purchasing GCN+ this month, since it is $20, but I am having a tough time finding the races I will be able to watch.

It differs from country to country but this is a list of everything in Canada in 2021.

This season there was definitely more on Flo as all of the grand tours were there, but 2021 seems to have the giro at least and a bunch of classics. Definitely more this season.

Last year I watched a bunch of the smaller things on GCN and a ton of cyclocross. 2021 seems to have a lot more stuff.

Nice! Thanks for the link. That is exactly what I have been trying to find. Picking it up during their February promo seems like a solid deal.

so will usa become nbssports for daily viewing of the tour and peacock will become the 'cycling pass'?

or are you going to have to have peacock to watch every stage? and i assume thats going to be peacock premium?

I have FloBike and it’s great. It’s had cross races all winter and already into Euro Road Racing.

It doesn’t have any of the ASO Races (the Tour, Vuelta, and some big classics and weeklong stage races) but alot of racing (including Giro) and definitely worth it.
