Hey all,
I thought I'd share my recent fitting that was done.
I wanted to try some other saddles, I had been on a Adamo ISM and feel its a bit too wide. I would get a lot of rubbing on my sides.
So we first tried a thinner model (didn't note the name) and that put way to much pressure on my perineum, so then we tried a Koobie fusion saddle. This felt a lot better during the fitting. I took it home and used it for a zwift session and started to get uncomfortable after an hour or so. I'm going to give it a few sessions and see how it goes, but its definitely a lot better than the Adamo. I wonder how comfortable we can get this.
My saddle height came up about 1cm as well. L/R looked very symmetrical but doing this allowed to start generating power higher in the pedal stroke.
Left cleat float was also taken in; I had a complaint about my left leg feeling off like it feeling less stable than the right. Decreasing the float seems to be helping keep my leg a bit more stable. We will see.
Finally, we haven't fully decided yet, but I may swap out the bars for something that can sit lower. The PD sonic and subsonic both look like an option. 1 problem from that would be my legs getting too close to my chest, we could counteract that by moving the saddle forward more though. I have pretty long legs relative to my torso length you can probably tell from the video.
I definitely will be changing out the elbow cups for the new versions since I want to move them inward. I find moving my elbows closer is much more comfortable than where they are now. (cups are on order)
