Hey ST,
I've got some exciting news to share - I recently landed a new job in SoCal! I'm really excited about the opportunity and to experience living in a warm climate.
I have never been to SoCal and will not get a chance to visit prior to starting my new job. I know many STers are familiar and even live in the area, so I can't imagine a better resource to get some insight on the region than this forum. I am in the process of looking for a place to live and would love to get your help in the decision of which city/neighbourhood to live in.
The new office is located near the intersection of the I-10 and the I-15 on the outskirts of Fontana.
Here is my wish list, force ranked according to priority:
Other details: single, no kids, ideally looking for a townhouse or bigger apartment to have adequate room for all my bikes and gear. Planning to have a vehicle for commuting (if needed) and weekend trips, although I plan to bike to work and for errands as much as possible!
So far my search has led me to focus on Rancho Cucamonga and Claremont. However, I am open to any and all suggestions.
Thanks a ton!
