Just wanted to throw a little kudo to the folks in Elgin...

A former student of mine is doing IM WI next week and was a bit, ah, tardy in getting his bike a much needed check up. He brought it into MB just 2 days ago, and despite the shop being busy with alot of this type of work (and Adam's bike sorely in need of some time-consuming bottom bracket work) we were able to pick it up today and it is quiet, clean and good to go. Bill was busy with a customer but it was good to say hi and check in. I know Adam appreciated the quick work and I appreciated Chris and Bill taking the time to ask about his training and race plans. The kid is 24 and has some promise. His old teacher is 48 and is just trying to keep up.
