Mavic Aero Wheels freehub compatability
Hi,
I'm thinking of buying some second hand Mavic Cosmic SLE wheels. Circa 2015. They currently have a campagnolo freehub fitted for 11 speed. Does anyone know if that could easily be replaced with a shimano freehub, e.g. 105 (my bike has 10 speed 105).
cheers

Not positive on that generation of Mavic wheel but the previous generation has easily swappable freehubs.

From the Mavic site: https://shop.mavic.com/...c0675.html#1040=3822

The hard part is identifying exactly which hub you have to select the right freehub.

Annoyingly I want to do the opposite swap. The freehub you want is ftsl 9mm model

Easy to change just make sure you keep an eye on the pawl springs when you remove the old one.

A lot of people simply use a Campy cassette with their Shimano drivetrain.
