Man killed on bike in El Paso

It really rarely happens (I think the last one was 2001)...but some got killed yesterday. Hit by a 25yo woman driving an SUV...

Sheriff's deputies suspect the driver had been drinking. She was arrested.
Nava was charged with intoxicated manslaughter. Tovar said she had just left an all-night party and had been drinking alcohol.


Another sad story.

I can't imagine how the man's loved ones must feel. Such an avoidable tragedy.

The woman is being charged with intoxicated manslaughter. Not sure what that entails in Texas, but I hope she gets convicted and does time.

Texas Law: 2nd degree felony. 2-20yrs in jail and a fine up to $10k.
