I have Magura RT6 brakes on my Cervelo P3. I raced yesterday and took the front wheel off to transport the bike. This is the first time I have done this. When i dropped the wheel back in, the brake pads were rubbing. I can't work out why this would be the case and now the lever can be pulled all the way to the bar with very little resistance. The quick release system is working fine. Any ideas?

It needs a bleed

Any reason why simply dropping the wheel out and placing back in would result in the need for a bleed? Have I messed with something I shouldn't have?

Not sure
I have worked on the RT for quite sometime.
When the lever goes soft and proper bleed will correct it
How old are the brakes?
Have they ever had a bleed

Only covered about 100 miles. Were working fine in the race yesterday. Problem only since dropping the wheel out. Trip to my LBS planned
