also why would he go from Cervelo to Specialized?

No disrespect to him but I honesty don't think he is strong enough for that, especially for multi day events. Got to say that I think it's a spoof as he would make more money in triathlon with his sponsorships than putting in the pot as a domestique.

Oh, so he hasn't ridden Kestrels for years! How strange I could have sworn I'd seen him riding Talons since their release around 2000 and then the Airfoil Pro. I stand corrected!

dude.....I said he signed a deal at the begining of 2007 after Hawaii 2006. I know he has been on a Kestrel for years. the facts will come out soon enough....nuf said!

Weather it is true or not I don't no; however when he won Memphis in May triathlon last Sunday (5/20/07) he rode a Specialized road bike with clip on's. That's a fact.

So you are saying that since October of 2006. Macca has:

Signed with Cervelo (to no one's knowledge). Seems like Cervelo might want people to know about this.

Then signed with Specialized? But apparantly to ride for one of their UCI Pro Tour teams?

He also just moved to the US. Moving to the US doesn't seem like a smart move if you are competing for a European cycling team.

For what it's worth, Luc Van Lierde signed a contract with Mapei after Hawaii 1996. It didn't mean he rode bike races with them, just that he was part of the roaster as a triathlete.
