Lucero - Test ride
OK, the saturday ride wasn't a real test...group ride, fairly easy, so nothing to test it...
Today was quite different...

3h ride with 3x15' at LT...the kind of session I like.
Big gear, head down and hammer.

This bike is made to go fast. Really low front end, slick aero tubes, aero fork and a tiny head tube to get really low. Changed the seat to an arione fizik (very comfie for TTing).

It's very responsive, doesn't move much if at all around the BB (although at my weight it's not so surprising) and once you reach whatever speed you're aiming at, you are not fighting with the bike to keep it (you're just fighting with your legs to keep on pushing).

Yet, the ride is smooth...as smooth as the tiphoon.
Most surprisingly, even though the wheel base is short in this size, it handles very well...I wish this was because my cornering technique has improved, but this is too unlikely.
I was a bit concerned about the low position and short wheel base, but really no issue there.

Still a bit of work to fine tune the position because I am a maniac, but getting there...

it's definitely a great bike!

Pictures added later when I get the real design wheels and the position 100% tuned in.

Sometimes I'll get pissed off because Sergio's Aero1 is still too fast for me after a couple of hours and I get annoyed and yell at them... then Sergio drops back and asks if I'm overtrained... LOL...

sounds like Olaf running 4'30/km...then you ask, so why did we go through 5km in 17'30?
answer is because it's a fast 4'30''/km ;-)

Paulo you just ride slow because you want people to appreciate the beauty of your Bianchi artwork of a bike.
