Depending on where you are located the Richmond area may be of interest. For road cycling there is a 50 mile MUP from Richmond to Williamsburg. https://www.virginiacapitaltrail.org/ . Lots of options for MTB: James River Park - https://jamesriverpark.org/visit-the-park/maps/ and my regular hangout is Pocahontas State Park, more single track and fire roads than you could ride in a weekend - http://www.fopsp.org/...bike-trail-info.html. For SUP the James River offers some white water and Pocahontas has some nice flat water. Here's the link to a local guide - riversideoutfitters.com. For accommodations, I would shy away from the city and look in Chesterfield County, they still haven't gotten the protest situation under control for me to feel safe.

Hope this helps.

Asheville. Blue Ridge Parkway on the Road (Mt. Mitchell), Pisgah and others for the MTB, SUP on Lake Lure and do the Chimney Rock hike and go to the winery in Bat Cave while there.

Knoxville would be a great option too if you dont want pisgah tech. The urban wilderness in south Knoxville has some great mountain biking, there are (2) separate quarries in south Knoxville as well for paddleboarding, then it is a short road ride to get to the smokies area. Also, with the TN right There for some additional water options. Great open water swimming options as well.

Xterra Indiana North is July 25. Trail is fast but not complicated. 1 rock garden near start that you just ride over if you know the line (I will happily show it to you).

2 weeks later is MOTUS Indiana in Southern Indiana. More complicated trails -- but everything is rideable if you just "go".

Chattanooga might work well for you. Lots of people SUP on the river. The road biking is nice and there are several mtb trails near the VW plant (Enterprise) as well as one downtown (Stringers Ridge).

Winner.

These are all good recs. Thanks all. This will get me a couple of camping/multisport weekends and all (except maybe VA) within a reasonable drive.

Really appreciate the help.
