The frames don't come with a higher stack, so the higher degree stem works in replacement, puts me in the perfect position, love it! I will be putting the original stem back on here in a month or so and selling it.

THAT frame may not come with a higher stack, but, there are frames with higher stacks.

Kestrel 4000 (per the ST Stack/Reach Table) -

Size/stack/reach:
47/467/397
50/525/394
525/530/403
55/536/418
575/541/440
595/547/450

You said they do not come with more stack, so, you must have a size 595 (what many frame manufacturers would size as 60 cm). The stack/reach are: 547/450.

A 59 cm Litespeed Saber has a stack/reach of: 561/456. Much more stack.
A 60 cm Felt B2 Pro has a stack/reach of: 561/461. Much more stack.

That was just a couple minutes of searching. The point I was trying to make is -- you seem to be on the wrong frame. Your position may be perfect. It actually may be. But, that bike cannot possibly handle very well with that setup.

So, my question is: why did you pick the Kestrel 4000 frame?

First decent length ride today to get ready for the summer - first 70.3 in 8 weeks. After experimenting gradually with shorter arm rest height, I am really happy with this setup. And it really does feel significantly faster than my alu DA. Overall LOVE IT!

Excuse me while I go change my shorts.

Looks hot!

Is it me or is the seat tube angle really slack?

remove the decals on the wheels and this bike would be sick. I think the decals on the wheels actually take away form the overall look of a great build.

Are you able to stay on your seat, or do you ride half the time on the top tube?

Just before IMC this year, turned the stem over to be a little more comfortable, usually have it the other way around.

Whats the mount you have behind the seat? I've either never seen that before or just don't recognize it.

My baby just before IMKY. I made the decorations on the wheel cover myself from artwork found on the web.
