I'd love to see more of the DI2 cable routing on that Saber. I'm thinking of doing that to my blade one day.

What's important is that we feel super on our bikes. :) a super bike is only as fast as the legs powering it.

Pretty much fit. Want to make sure before I do any steerer chopping. But, other than that, it's ready for Devilman tomorrow. Which will actually be the first time I've ridden it outside for more than a block or two - that's ok, right?

Yes, I know it's grammatically incorrect. Blame AOL and their 90s-era character limits.

Yup. That's how it's done. Small frame for all those accoutrements.

Rotate the front wheel about 15* counter-clockwise, and the picture will be NOICE.

I have never had an issue with the seat-post on these bikes, but I always think the front fork looks like it's raked out quite a bit, and I think the bike would be unstable and not handle very well. Thoughts?

Just spent 2 hours in 20 mph winds with gust higher than that. I never felt unstable once the whole ride. I'm very impressed with how stable this bike is even when reaching in my jersey pockets while in the bars. I'm also blown away by how stiff and compliant it is. My previous bike was a 2008 Felt DA (which I loved) and the bottom bracket of this bike is MUCH stiffer. Impressive really.

So glad to read this. Have i not been saying how compliant these bikes are. So smooth and so stiff. Pain to build but awesome to ride.

Actually, he needs to rotate the tire label 180deg, then rotate the wheel 15. Then he's nailed it. ;)

BMANX, I only clicked on the thread hoping to see another of your creations.

Very Disappointed.

Here is what I have been working on. I still need to sort out the saddle/post (just put on to test ride) which will most likely come from Jure Berk and I need a lower stem and wider bars. Right now in this config it sits at 16.75 lbs.

Thanks and I really do enjoy the saddle. I had the Max for a few years and never had any issues, then I rode 100 and the last 40 was in the rain. The sides of the sadlle just dug right into the seams of my tri shorts and after that, I could never get comfortable on thee saddle. I went to the plus a few months ago and love it. I'm a smaller guy at 149lbs so went with a thinner saddle and haven't had any issues since.

Thanks! Looks like a hoot to ride.

Forgive my ignorance, but what is the main purpose? Mega urban commuter, or a light trail bike?
I'm building up a budget BP Stealth 'superbike' at the moment - unfortunately the geometry is completely wrong for TTs so it might end up a weird-looking road bike. We'll see!
