It was really good - and bike fit isn't THAT hard lol. He knew what he wanted to look like and got comfortable in it. Can be much more scientific than that but ultimately, he only saved a couple watts lol

DFRU - Detta Family Racing Unit...the kids like it and we all get out and after it...gotta keep the fam involved!

Kinda scary that he only NOW adds science to that equation ...

Surprised he is still on the Canyon stock cockpit ... but hey, money talks ... :)

Oh hell yeah. Lionel dropped off the front page so Sam had to step in with his own YT content. Are we done with the moto drafting discussion now?

Talk about some of the most boring content produced by one of these channels.

"Still"? This sponsorship is just a few days old and the season is still months away. Lol

I also doubt there is much to be gained by a full custom kit compared to the stock long-pad setup.

🤣🤣🤣 true - was just thinking I have not seen many of the Canyon top Pros who kept that stock cockpit. If they are down to spending a whole day on the track, optimizing for 3-4 watts, then having a few new options at hand wouldnt be bad... or potentially better than the taped up front he brought to Kona 🤣

That's a fairly negative way of viewing things, but... let's say the video could do with more drama and/or humor.

If this one was about showcasing Sam's new partners, maybe the next one will feature more of his sass and at least a bit of moderate trash talking.

There's this dude called Sam Appleton
Who tries to race but not a ton
Because he loses and he's a duathlete
And he sucks and his toys are Chinese-made

War of the Sams. I loved 2022.
